The Supervisor, Facilities Operations functions to support the Medical Center's day-to-day operations with functional and financial management of associates assigned to building operations and maintenance.**Position Summary**The Supervisor, Facilities Operations is responsible for all managerial functions for designated facilities operations employees. This includes associates from the Mechanical Systems, Electric and Electronic Systems, and Building Systems shops. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, repairs and projects of the Medical Center facilities. This includes, but is not limited to electric, plumbing, medical gas, beds, fire alarms, material handling system, HVAC/R and general repair and upkeep of the building environment and life safety compartments. This position encompasses communication, coordination, and regulatory compliance for all assigned areas. This position is responsible for the supervision of all assigned personnel and for the operations and regulatory compliance of the assigned areas, designated systems, and equipment. The position is responsible for inspecting, assessing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating personnel performance and will prioritize personnel and shop activities related to the maintaining of the facilities grounds and buildings.Areas and equipment are operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. May cover for other supervisors due to absence and vacation, as necessary. The supervisor is subject to call back.
Responsibilities include actively promoting the Medical Center’s mission, vision and values in support of an absolute customer satisfaction.**Minimum Qualifications****For Hire:** Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three (3) years progressive supervisory experience required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.## Additional Information:## Location:Medical Center Tower (0870)## Position Type:Regular## Scheduled Hours:40## **Shift:**Third Shift***Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
