We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced
Used Car Manager
to lead our pre-owned department and drive continued growth. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the
used vehicle department , including appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, reconditioning, and inventory management.
Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed volume, gross, and customer satisfaction goals.
Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies to maintain competitive positioning and profitability.
Ensure the dealership maintains a strong used vehicle inventory that aligns with sales demand.
Work closely with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles.
Implement effective marketing strategies to promote used vehicle sales.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations.
Train, mentor, and develop staff to improve performance and retention.
Qualifications
Minimum
3 years of experience
in automotive sales management, preferably in used car operations.
Proven track record of achieving sales and gross profit objectives.
Strong knowledge of
vehicle valuation, market analytics, and inventory management tools
(e.g., vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
