Currently hiring for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The "After-School Adventures" program occurs at Glastonbury Elementary Schools, Wednesdays from September 3rd - November 19th, and then from March 4th - June 3rd. Start times vary by site based on dismissal times, approximately 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. for Site Leaders. Required training will occur in August.
Site Leaders work closely with the Program Director and each other to implement the program. A site leader is responsible for the day-to-day operation, health, safety and behavior management of their assigned school/site. They will provide guidance and encouragement to Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders in order to create a safe, consistent, positive environment for participants and staff. Program Director plans arts and crafts, games and sports activities that Site Leaders implement and adjust to the needs/interests of their site.
