We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager with proven experience in Memory products, Solid State Drives (SSD) and System on Modules (SoM) to lead our engineering team in developing next-generation high-performance solutions. This individual will bring technical depth and leadership capability, balancing hands-on design and testing expertise with team management and cross-functional collaboration. Successful candidates will guide product development from concept through testing and manufacturing ramp-up, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and product reliability. Responsibilities Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor and develop a team of design, test and manufacturing engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, responsibility and continuous improvement. Interface with product management, manufacturing and quality teams to align engineering execution with business objectives.
Technical Execution
Drive product design and development for Memory, SSD and SoM products from concept to production release. Provide hands-on technical leadership in circuit/system design, firmware interaction, validation and reliability testing. Oversee and contribute to EVT/DVT testing, root cause analysis and design improvements. Ensure product compliance with industry standards (JEDEC, NVMe, PCIe, etc.) and customer requirements. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and transition to manufacturing with robust documentation, test plans and process validation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and smooth production ramp. Engage with suppliers and technology partners to evaluate new materials, components and technologies. Work with quality and reliability engineering to define and execute test protocols ensuring high reliability and long product life cycles.
Experience 8+ years of experience in electronic product design and validation, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Proven track record in Memory (DRAM, NAND), SSD and/or SoM product development and testing. Hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB design, embedded systems and hardware debugging. Strong background in EVT, DVT, system validation and failure analysis. Familiarity with industry standards: JEDEC, SATA, PCIe, NVMe, LPDDR/DDR. Skills Excellent leadership, team building and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Experience in manufacturing transfer and high-volume production support.
