More about the Role The Veterinary Clinic of Pearland is looking to add another veterinarian to our team! We are offering a sign on bonus of $75,000!!

We are a small animal focused, general practice that began just five years ago. Since then, we have quickly obtained a steady stream of fantastic clients that have allowed us to expand our practice. We are currently led by two extremely knowledgeable and experienced DVMs that have accumulated decades of experience.

We aim to treat clients' pets as if they are our own, providing our community with top-of-the-line wellness, diagnostic, and surgical care. Our doctors are backed by a loyal team of technicians, assistants, and receptionists that ensure our days always run smoothly.

About the area Pearland is located just south of Houston, TX. For outdoor enthusiasts, Pearland is also special as it provides all residents with plenty of green spaces and opportunities to enjoy trails, nature, and fresh air while still having the advantages of being near a big city!

Essential Responsibilities

Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.

Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.

Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.

Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.

Provide counsel around pet end‑of‑life care.

Maintain patients' medical records.

Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.

Appropriate state licensure.

Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.

Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
