Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic in Excelsior Springs, Missouri is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team. All Experience Levels are welcome to apply. Our clinic provides an excellent environment for candidates interested in expanding their soft tissue surgery skills or interest in exotics. About the Practice
Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal general practice offering the best in medical and surgical care. We treat dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, avians, small ruminants, and wildlife. We finished a complete remodel in 2021 and our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy. We utilize a traveling radiology technician to perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms once a week. We are paperless, using AVImark for our electronic medical records. We have phenomenal, experienced support staff, with 3-4 technicians and assistants per doctor. Responsibilities
Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry in our two surgery suites and dentistry area. Each patient undergoing anesthesia is required to have pre-op lab work, an IV catheter, and IV fluids. Our medical director is very experienced in most soft tissue procedures and would help candidates gain confidence and expand their surgical skills. For orthopedic surgeries, we use a mobile board-certified surgeon or refer to nearby specialty centers. Qualifications
Interest in exotics, avians, and wildlife preferred; however, we will consider candidates interested in working exclusively with dogs and cats. Flexible schedule: 3 to 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays. No on-call responsibilities due to nearby referral/emergency locations. Team & Culture
