Collect noise, water, air, and/or building material samples Gather, analyze, and interpret data Industrial Hygiene Assessments (Chemical Exposure, Noise, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Air Monitoring) Water Intrusion and Mold Assessments (Moisture Mapping, Visible suspect biological growth assessments, Mold Sampling and Clearance Protocols) Building Material Sample Collection including Asbestos Assessments, Sampling, project oversight, and clearance testing; Lead-Based Paint Inspections; and Lead sampling Take detailed notes and write comprehensive work-performed reports for frequent projects using well-established boilerplate guidance. Communicate daily with colleagues, clients, and contractors via phone, in-person, Teams, and text. Ensure safe work practices on all project work
What we're looking for:
BS degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, or related science field Minimum of 12 months performing Asbestos, lead paint, and mold surveys and abatement oversight Baseline AHERA certification coursework and California Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) certification (CAC preferred) Ability to work efficiently under general oversight and direction by a Senior Industrial Hygienist Professional · Strong interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, clients, and others. Experience and aptitude drafting concise, detailed, and accurate work-performed reports. Experience with industrial hygiene, asbestos, mold, and lead sampling Knowledge of applicable regulations Interest in developing and expanding your professional growth through additional certification, continuing education, and cross-training to support other environment consulting services such as compliance audits, Phase I ESAs, stormwater compliance inspections, and soil/soil vapor/groundwater sampling.
