Hexagon's Geosystems division focuses on combining accurate measurement, positioning, and mapping technologies with industry‑tailored workflows to help geodata‑dependent industries capture, visualize, and analyze the physical world, turning data into actionable insights for better decision‑making and improved efficiency.

Position Summary We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. This role focuses on outbound prospecting and lead generation using Dodge Construction Network data and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers in the heavy construction industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about construction technology, skilled in outbound marketing tactics, and comfortable initiating conversations with decision‑makers in construction firms, contractors, and infrastructure developers.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation: Leverage Dodge data to identify high‑potential construction projects and key stakeholders; conduct outbound campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified leads; build and maintain a pipeline of prospects in Salesforce CRM.

Market Intelligence & Targeting: Analyze project data, market trends, and company profiles to prioritize outreach; segment and target accounts based on project type, size, geography, and construction phase; monitor competitors’ market presence to differentiate AGTEK’s value.

Engagement & Qualification of Opportunities: Initiate contact with prospects to understand needs and pain points; qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline; schedule discovery calls or demos for Account Executives.

Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with marketing to align messaging and campaigns; provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance; track activities and results in CRM and contribute to weekly pipeline reviews; partner with Customer Success to understand client wins and challenges for sharper messaging.

All other duties as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role, preferably in construction tech, SaaS, or B2B software.

Experience using Dodge Construction Network or similar construction project databases.

Strong communication skills—verbal and written—with the ability to engage senior‑level decision‑makers.

Familiarity with Salesforce CRM systems and outbound sales tools.

Self‑motivated, organized, and goal‑oriented with a hunter mentality.

Ability to analyze activity metrics and optimize outreach strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the heavy civil or infrastructure construction market.

Understanding of construction workflows, estimating, project management, or machine control.

Experience working with marketing automation platforms and lead scoring models.

Experience with AGTEK software.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of qualified leads generated per month.

Conversion rate from outreach to meeting.

Pipeline contribution and influenced revenue.

Outreach activity volume and engagement rates.
