Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a General Cardiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in Carbondale, IL.
Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Position Requirements
Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
Board Certified or Board Eligibility
Experience in Cardiology is preferred
Position Details
Monday - Friday weekly schedule
Rotating call
EPIC EMR
Compensation & Benefits Package
Base guarantee
Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly
CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year

Education Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
Experience Qualifications
Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
Federal DEA license is preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
**Education Qualifications*** Master’s degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field is required.* Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, psychology or related field PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of practice is required.* Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or* Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)* Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.* Physician Assistant Certification is required.* DEA license is preferred.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
