The Role: Product Engineer (NYC‑Based) As a

Product Engineer

you will move quickly to plan, build, and refine critical customer‑facing features. You will combine structured thinking with rapid execution, working in TypeScript, Postgres, and Cloudflare Workers to deliver intuitive user experiences. Your days will span planning new product flows, diagnosing live issues for customers, and shipping polished updates on a tight cadence. You will use AI coding tools such as Cursor to accelerate delivery and maintain high code quality while navigating ambiguous requirements. We expect you to prioritize the Customer and balance day‑to‑day product adjustments and long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of high‑impact product areas and ship improvements on a daily rhythm. Work with customer‑success to prioritize high‑leverage work.

Rapidly iterate on UI, UX, and core application components to create a seamless customer journey.

Break down ambiguous goals into clear plans, identify the data needed for success, and measure outcomes.

Build and maintain TypeScript codebases that integrate Postgres, auth, and edge logic on Cloudflare Workers.

Use AI pair‑programming tools to boost productivity and uphold best practices in testing, performance, and security.

Collaborate with design, product, and platform teams to think big, prioritize effectively, and execute fast.

Monitor production metrics, troubleshoot issues, and roll out fixes that protect user trust and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Two or more years of full‑stack engineering or related experience with a record of shipping customer‑facing features at high velocity.

Strong frontend TypeScript skills and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte and SvelteKit or React and Next.js.

Hands‑on experience with Postgres and backend TypeScript. Comfort working with Node and Cloudflare Workers.

Proficiency with AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf.

Ability to decompose complex problems into structured steps and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.

Comfort working in ambiguous environments, gathering data, and making informed decisions quickly.

Solid grounding in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery practices.

Bonus: Experience building AI first UX, RAG pipelines, and AI Agent pipelines.
