Lab Technician
Location:
North Haven, CT
Duration:
12+ months (possibility of extension)
Roles & Responsibilities
The Reliability Technician will work closely with R&D engineers to test new and existing products, generating and analyzing data for the New Product Development process.
Preference for Mechanical or Biomedical Engineers.
Will consider mechanically inclined technicians without an Engineering degree.
Exposure to Instron testing.
Essential Functions
Assist in the mechanical evaluation of new and existing products.
Evaluate test data and report results.
Prepare and operate lab equipment such as Instrons and needle testing equipment.
B.S. in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related work experience.
Proven leadership experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
