The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all supply chain activities at the Mansfield site, with a focus on warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes KPI performance, lean warehouse management, elimination of back-orders, and compliance with customs and FDA requirements. This position also plays a key role in S&OP alignment with HQ planners (raw materials and semi-finished goods), as well as the development and implementation of future supply chain and logistics programs. In addition, the Supply Chain Manager will act as the local project lead for SAP S/4HANA deployment, serving as key-user and reference point for supply chain processes. Beyond supply chain, the role contributes to broader site Lean initiatives, collaborating with the leadership team to improve efficiency and standards across departments. Lead and manage local supply chain functions, including inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, and customer service. Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes through Lean tools, KPI monitoring, and standardization. Ensure inventory optimization to prevent shortages and minimize excess stock. Monitor and reduce back-orders, ensuring on-time delivery and service level excellence. Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective deliveries. Manage customs clearance and ensure compliance with FDA and international trade regulations. Collaborate with HQ planners in the S&OP process to align supply/demand planning and material flow. Act as SAP key-user for supply chain, supporting system migration, process harmonization, and user training. Lead and mentor a team of 6–7 employees in warehousing, inventory, and customer service functions. Develop and execute annual supply chain objectives, aligned with site and corporate strategy. Act as local project manager for the implementation of new supply chain and logistics initiatives. Support and contribute to site-wide Lean initiatives outside of supply chain when required. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, and logistics operations. Proven experience with continuous improvement and Lean methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred). Preferred Qualifications
APICS / CPIM certification. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification (strong plus). Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and support site-wide Lean initiatives. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work performed in office and warehouse/manufacturing environments. Moderate noise level. Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 40 lbs. PPE (glasses, gloves, hearing protection) required in designated areas. Additional Information
