The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide. Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the FSQA staff on the production line. Assists FSQA technicians with operational reports and complete required paperwork (daily process documentation, questions about checks, etc.). Monitors performance of FSQA technicians and provides assessment to FSQA supervisor. Completes documentation and report out comments/warnings given to employees while supervisor absent. Monitors employees to ensure checks are done in a timely manner and all hand/foot dips are performed. Conducts standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding color, weight, dimension, texture. Reviews purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor. Documents data obtained during quality assurance activities consistent with HACCP standards and company policies. Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, qualities and quantities inspected or graded. Applies proper acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status. Audits production facility and reviews employee behavior for proper sanitation. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to Production/FSQA Management. Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities to production. Maintains a working knowledge of company, government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. Other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities

Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions. Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and safety trainings. Employees working in Alaska are advised to have medical insurance coverage which is valid in the State of Alaska. Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of company, government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. Preferred Qualifications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. The work environment is wet or humid, with moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and loud.
