Lead Landscape and Winter Operations Manager
to join our team with a preference in Civil or Landscaping and Winter Operations Experience. You'll plan, execute, and deliver construction projects that are
on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations
while leading and mentoring your team with clarity and purpose. This position will have a diverse scope and require initiative, critical thinking, and proactive communication skills.
Required education or experience
Degree in Construction Management/Engineering and field management experience OR Extensive field management experience 5+ years
Responsibilities
Lead all phases of landscape and civil construction projects: planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout Coordinate teams including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal staff Create detailed project plans and manage critical paths to meet deadlines and key milestones Oversee budgeting, cost control, and risk management strategy Monitor job site progress and enforce safety, building codes, and regulatory compliance Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Conduct regular site visits, team check-ins, and quality inspections Mentor and supervise Assistant PMs, Site Supervisors, and field staff
Authoring and reviewing contract deliverables including, but not limited to
product or technical submittals work plans safety plans sampling and analysis plans status reports project plans proposal responses and bid documents technical evaluations and solutions compliance documentation
Required skills and abilities
5+ years of experience managing commercial, vertical and/or civil construction projects Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, BuilderTrend) Strong knowledge of construction practices, contracts, and documentation Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills Ability to interpret and manage blueprints, schematics, and specs OSHA 10 certification (PMP certification or equivalent a plus) Ability to work independently and in teams under low supervision Strong communication and written skills Problem identification and resolution skills Ability to retain employees by building loyalty and trust Must fit core values and a positive work culture
