The Technium Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for creating net new opportunities for the Business Development Team. This can include, but is not limited to Technium cores solutions along with partner products. This position requires a self-motivated, success-driven individual with a proven record of value based professional relationship-building and/or B2B sales. Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and business relationship management skills along with a positive attitude and personal integrity are required to succeed. Obsessive self-motivation and successful cold calling is a must to be an effective part of the Technium Business Development team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research accounts and identify key personas, high-growth potential, net-new prospects. Identify and acquire targeted personas through available sales tools. Generate interest, qualify leads and create pipeline growth via phone calls, emails, social media (where appropriate) and events. Partner with internal sales stakeholders to strategize and lead sales opportunity qualification. Prioritize list of accounts/prospects for short and long-term pursuit to achieve sales objectives. Responsible for prospecting 15-20 net-new prospects per week. Monitor trade publications, social media and news outlets for opportunities and leads. Actively maintain status of leads and accounts within CRM. Provide timely and accurate opportunity information to senior sales leadership. Participate in Sales team meetings and trainings. Engages with Marketing for Sales campaign coordination and lead follow up. Identify prospects’ business needs, challenges, and technical requirements to match Technium’s product solutions. Lead delivery of product pitch and adapt pitch to the needs and person of each prospect/customer. Proficiency in Technium’s product set and solutions. Sell full suite of Technium offerings. Highly results oriented self starter Voracious adaptability Coachable, accountable, and driven to learn General understanding of online applications and business software (ex.CRM) Experience working in B2B technology sales preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) with ability to engage and influence C-level executives Understanding of enterprise computing and/or cybersecurity desirable Bachelor’s degree in technology, communications, or business-related field desirable
