Position Summary:
Bakery Leaders play a vital role in helping BBU succeed as one team. They lead bakery teams to produce world-class products on time, ensure operational capabilities, and support the training necessary for excellence. They foster a culture of engagement, development, ownership, and accountability across people, safety, quality, service, and cost.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead as an Operations Excellence Vision Carrier, driving accountability and pursuing excellence across all bakeries. Develop Department Leaders through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback, fostering an empowered, problem-solving mindset. Create a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism aligned with the company's values. Uphold and promote our E5 Leadership Behaviors: Embrace the Consumer, Ensure Operational Capabilities, Empower and Involve, Engage and Develop, and Expect Ownership and Accountability. Support production, maintenance, sanitation, and shipping to meet schedules and quality standards. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify profit-driving and quality improvement strategies. Leverage technical expertise to accelerate problem-solving and solutions. Lead by example in Quality and Food Safety, supporting continuous improvement of systems. Achieve KPIs related to people, assets, quality, safety, service, and cost. Lead the Safety Integrated Management System, engaging all associates in safety performance. Use data to set strategic priorities and drive results.
