Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse Department: CCC | Clinical Trials Office Job Description The Clinical Research Nurse will organize and coordinate patient care on clinical research protocols at the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Responsibilities include evaluating patient eligibility, registration, monitoring care, and ensuring proper follow-up. Responsibilities Evaluate patient responses and complications Develop and revise patient care orders Educate and ensure protocol compliance among physicians and staff nurses Assist in developing tools for new protocols Manage protocols with complex clinical requirements, including translational research and multi-center trials Collect and input data for enrolled patients Participate in research data analysis Communicate with sponsors regarding protocol and patient status Assess patient reactions to treatment modifications Act as a patient advocate, providing education and responding to questions about protocols Work with patients to ensure adherence and serve as a resource for the disease team Minimum Education Required Bachelor's degree in nursing, allied health professions, or related field, or equivalent experience. Qualifications Current Ohio nursing license or relevant permit Clinical research certification from SoCRA or ACRP preferred Experience in clinical research trials and patient care preferred Computer literacy preferred Additional Information:
