The CT Technologist performs a variety of computerized tomographic procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist, utilizing knowledge of ionizing radiation and computer techniques. The CT Technologist demonstrates concern for patients and co-workers at all times. A CT Technologist is someone who has successfully acquired certification in CT. Education
Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); CT certification preferred. This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview. Experience
While experience in CT or a related radiology position is preferred, UVM Medical Center offers on-the-job CT training to candidates with active ARRT certification. Education materials are provided, and the cost of the CT certification exam is reimbursed after passing the exam.

This position is scheduled for five evening/night 8-hour shifts during a two-week pay period. While call is not required at this time, this may change if the need arises. Why UVM Medical Center

External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus based on experience. Bonuses for part-time new hires are between $3,000 and $7,500 (based on 20 scheduled hours per week) and are paid out over a few installments.
