Brick City Cat Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our feline practice. We are a privately owned, non-corporate cat hospital that has been in Ocala for 23 years. We pride ourselves on practicing modern medicine with compassionate care, and we are a Gold Level Cat Friendly Practice certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Our ideal candidate is passionate about feline medicine, dentistry, and surgery, strives for excellence in patient care, is committed to detailed client education with accessibility and compassion, and enjoys working with our highly skilled team. Experience the advantages of our low staff turnover and high retention rates! We have a 4 day work week to keep work/life balance as a priority. Join our family-oriented team with dedicated cat friendly support staff, and clients who allow you to practice your skills and continue to learn daily. We are closed on weekends, and have the University of Florida emergency care available at 2 nearby locations on weekends and holidays. Dr. Salpeter believes mentorship is important, and looks forward to working with you. Responsibilities & Expectations
Provide quality medical care for cats with a focus on feline medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Maintain high standards of patient care, client communication, and documentation. Collaborate with a skilled team and participate in ongoing education and professional growth. Maintain a positive, compassionate approach to patient and client interactions in a family-oriented practice. Qualifications
Veterinary license to practice in Florida. Interest or experience in feline medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Commitment to client education, compassionate care, and teamwork. New graduates welcomed. Full time preferred. Compensation & Benefits
