Troubleshoot and install complex, customized packaging and processing equipment at customer sites. Repair equipment efficiently, addressing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic challenges. Train customers on safe operation, maintenance, and parts ordering. Provide contact info for service support. Ensure customer comfort with operational and safety procedures. Complete and submit service documentation and trip expenses promptly. Maintain accurate weekly expense reports and timesheets, managing costs effectively. This is a travel position requiring overnight stays most workdays. Flexibility in schedule is essential to meet customer needs. Work outside normal hours, including weekends, and travel with short notice as required.

Schedule options include 10 days on/4 days off or Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.

Requirements:

Use technical drawings, electromechanical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to service large machinery. Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, electrical, pneumatic, and machine shop experience are essential.

Ideal candidates work independently, provide excellent customer service, and adapt to changing situations, maintaining professionalism under stress.

Work Environment:

We serve various industries, primarily food processing and packaging. Equipment may be in cold, messy, noisy environments with moving parts and electrical hazards. Work may involve handling equipment used for medical sterilization or meat processing.

Physical Demands:

This role requires standing, walking, manual dexterity, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking. Lifting up to 50 lbs is often necessary.
