At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking an associate or experienced Electrical Power Systems Engineer to support the Vertical Lift (VL) program Platform Systems team located in Mesa AZ.
Responsibilities
Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Design hardware, software and interface specifications
Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Design solutions to current and future products
Work with multiple teams to meet program goals
10% travel as needed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
1+ years’ experience in aircraft electrical power systems
Preferred Qualifications
Electrical Engineering degree preferred
3+ years of experience with aviation electrical power systems (3-phase AC and/or DC systems)
3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
3+ years’ of experience in design
Pay & Benefits Summary pay range (level 2): $79,900 - $108,100
Summary pay range (Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950
