If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended*.****Job Details:**Pay Range: $19.65 - $28.10; Shift Pay: $2.00 or $3.00Description:This position will perform task involving welding, cutting, minor electrical repair, removing and replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water and steam pipes, lines and systems in an industrial environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Tasks:Requires knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, plumbing and boilers. Must be able to use basic hand tools. Require basic mechanical or maintenance skills. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet. Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Will be required to obtain the certification and operate a forklift, skid-steer loader and man-lift. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.**The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.****The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.**Requirements:Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. Minimum 6 month waiting period from previous Tyson employment.
