Production Manager

As the Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our production facility, ensuring all work orders are completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for supervising multiple teams, optimizing workflow, and driving productivity while maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in safety, machinery management, labor cost control, material utilization, and quality assurance.
Compensation
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities
Serve as the Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Operate and oversee the production area within budgetary guidelines
Plan, organize, and manage all production activities, including personnel, scheduling, equipment, and supplies
Lead and support the Shop Managers, Sr. Techs (CAD & Programming), Sr. Measure Tech, Sr. Material Handling, and their teams
Monitor production output and resolve issues that impact timelines or quality
Evaluate machine performance and minimize downtime
Develop and implement workflow policies that enhance efficiency and quality
Set departmental productivity goals and hold teams accountable
Ensure adequate staff and effective training for all new hires
Communicate regularly with upper management on progress and challenges
Qualifications
Proven experience in production or operations management in the stone/granite industry
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent organizational and planning abilities
Experience managing budgets and meeting operational KPIs
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Ability to think critically and solve problems on the fly
Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems and production scheduling tools is a plus
