Pay: $36 to $46/Hour, depending on experience About Us: Koester Corporation, located in Napoleon, OH, is actively seeking dedicated, self-motivated, and experienced Controls Engineers to join our Electrical Engineering department as a Project Engineer. Essential Skills and Duties
Design Projects in AutoCAD Electrical: Create comprehensive electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical. Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards in the design process. Collaborate with others on the engineering team to incorporate project requirements into the drawings. PLC and HMI Program Development: Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) and human-machine interface (HMI) programs. Troubleshoot and debug programs to ensure optimal functionality. Stay updated on industry advancements in PLC and HMI technology to integrate the latest features into projects. Interact with Customers to Formulate a Design Solution: Engage with clients to understand their electrical engineering needs and project specifications. Provide professional expertise and recommendations to create tailored design solutions. Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration. Work with Our Panel Shop During Panel Build Phase: Collaborate closely with the panel shop team to oversee the construction and testing of electrical control panels. Ensure that panels meet design specifications and quality standards. Travel to Job Site for Installation and Start-up: Conduct on-site visits to oversee the installation of electrical systems. Coordinate with on-site personnel and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Facilitate the start-up process, ensuring all systems function according to design specifications. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of five years of Controls Engineering Experience. Competence in AutoCAD Electrical. Proficiency in using Rockwell or Siemens controls equipment. Familiarity with HMI/SCADA software. Proficient use of normal electrical test measuring equipment. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Ignition software Experience with scripting languages such as VBScript, C, C++, python Experience with additional PLCs or equipment such as Job Type
