Responsibilities: Develop system layouts, schematics, and detailed designs utilizing AutoCAD and Revit for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure project accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards to meet all local regulatory requirements Research and apply applicable codes to design Perform detailed heating and cooling load calculations according to ASHRAE standards to accurately determine appropriate equipment required Collaborate closely with team members, leadership, clients, architects, and associated contractors, to integrate HVAC systems into building designs Work with multi-discipline staff in designing and implementing mechanical systems in new or existing buildings Ability to perform project site visits during design and construction to ensure proper implementation of the design document Qualifications: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Architectural Engineering, Plumbing Engineer or equivalent Knowledge/understanding of LEED and Green Building practices is a plus Four (~4) or more years of engineering experience in the design of HVAC & Plumbing systems Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder Engineer in Training (EIT) desired, Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus US citizen or Green Card holder required
