Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The role of the New Project Quality Engineer is responsible for FOLLOWING UP ON QUALITY DELIVERABLES TO THE CLIENT UNTIL THE START OF REGULAR PRODUCTION. from the achievement of quality deliverables to the start of production.
The main objectives of this profile are:
Coordinate the Quality function IN NEW PROGRAMS AMONG ALL THE PRODUCTS INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT
GUARANTEE the capitalization of the experience of previous programs or SERIAL PRODUCTION IN NEW PROGRAMS
Ensure that best practices are implemented within the new program in relation to the Program Management System (PMS) and its deliverables, ENGINEERING CHANGE REQUESTS (ECRs), product quality issues, lessons learned, PKYK workshop, and issues related to the quality of purchased parts that could impact the customer
Define the Control Plan together with the interdisciplinary team
Define appropriate measuring instruments and/or devices to ensure conformity with the design
Support the activities of Supplier Quality functions when there is a problem that could affect the customer
Inform the Quality Management of the status of the program
Represent the voice of customers within the company. Ensure leadership on quality issues when needed
Define together with the interdisciplinary team the FMEA process.
Perceived Quality: Coordinate understanding about internal quality issues and customer complaints
Ensure that the control plan is respected in the production cells
Continuously improve FMEA and Control Plans through process capacity analysis, PKYKs
Risk Assessment: Manage the risk assessment process with a focus on Poka Yoke, Final Inspection, and Temporary Wall Quality
