General Summary of Position
Job Summary: MedStar Health is looking for an Environmental Services Aide to join our team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network! As a Environmental Services Aide, you will perform a variety of duties necessary to maintain conditions consistent with the infection control standards of MedStar NRN. This role ensures the maintenance of a clean and safe environment. The incumbent must have the ability to adhere to MedStar NRN policies and OSHA regulations regarding safety precautions and chemical agents.

Primary Duties:
Distribute clean linen to appropriate areas and remove soiled linen from utility rooms.
Dust, mop, and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, offices, utility rooms, and communal areas using appropriate solutions.
Empty trash and waste (move to appropriate areas within the hospital), clean, wax, and polish floors by hand or machine.
Vacuum carpeted areas, move furniture and supplies as directed.
Report repairs or malfunctions to EVS Director or Group Leader, clean spills promptly and safely.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
6 months' experience working in housekeeping within a hospital setting preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $18 - $29.74
