Aircraft Mechanic II Airframes — Location: Havelock, NC 28532 US (Primary) Job Description
Troubleshoot and repair the following systems on the KC-130J aircraft, to include flight control, fuel, hydraulic, in-flight refueling, landing gear, and pneumatic systems in accordance with naval aviation manuals Perform inspections on the KC-130J to the assigned systems as required by naval aviation manuals Perform authorized metal repairs to aircraft in accordance with naval aviation manuals Document all maintenance performed utilizing the Optimized Organization Maintenance Activity (OOMA) system Screen component records for proper implementation of technical directives Inspect the performance of maintenance, and all system related components Provide in depth training to the mechanics within the squadron on all associated systems Obtain and maintain all required support equipment licenses to perform assigned maintenance tasks Inspect, maintain, repair, and service aircraft components including, but not limited to engines, fuel systems, and mechanical components, and apply technical knowledge of aircraft systems in determining equipment malfunctions Apply technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturers manuals/specifications Perform other qualified duties as required and assist other work centers as required which could include troubleshooting, repairing, servicing, and maintaining airframe, hydraulic, pneumatic, flight control, and landing gear systems Perform inspections and duties as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) as required Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance Possess a valid state driver’s license, and obtain and maintain base access K C-130 Airframes Mechanic Training (MOS 6256) and associated "C" school training, or equivalent civilian qualifications or certifications (A&P license) Shall have the ability perform complex O-level maintenance actions Must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect and sign off work in all assigned aircraft systems Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) or equivalent If a Veteran, must have earned an honorable discharge (preferred) but no less than a General discharge under Honorable conditions Possess a good knowledge of squadron organization and functions and be able to communicate and interact effectively with others Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects Perform other duties as assigned 100 Brookwood Rd Atmore, AL 36502 Ecke Holding Company LLC dba “Poarch Creek Indians Federal Services” is owned by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, a Federally Recognized Indian Tribe. pci-nsn.gov
