R-16556**Role Summary:**We are seeking a results-driven **Manufacturing Engineer** to join our team at Flowserve. In this role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes including machining, coating, lapping, welding, assembly, and testing. You'll leverage your technical expertise in product design, materials, fabrication, tooling, and production methods to evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes. Using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, you’ll work to improve quality, reduce costs, and drive on-time delivery. This position also plays a key role in troubleshooting technical issues and supporting production teams with day-to-day engineering needs.### **Responsibilities:*** Lead capital projects: investigate, justify, procure, and implement equipment to support operational goals.* Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to address high-priority production issues and develop lean solutions that align with Flowserve’s strategic objectives.* Specify and procure manufacturing supplies that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.* Ensure tooling and fixtures are available and optimized to meet customer demands.* Diagnose and resolve process and equipment issues to minimize production downtime.* Contribute to the development of profit and strategic manufacturing plans; monitor progress of capital projects to ensure budget and timeline compliance.* Stay current with emerging technologies in machine tools, tooling, and manufacturing methods; recommend innovations to improve throughput and quality.* Create, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing routings across all production areas.* Ensure all processes, tooling, and fixtures comply with OSHA safety standards.* Support and enforce Flowserve's environmental policies, ensuring compliance by both internal operations and subcontractors.* Foster a team-oriented work environment and demonstrate respect in all interactions with colleagues and customers.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.**Required Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field), with 3–5 years of relevant experience.* Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.* Strong background in manufacturing environments, ideally involving complex, precision-engineered products.* Proficiency with ERP systems and CAD software.* Experience developing manufacturing routings and an understanding of cost accounting principles.* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, safety standards, process documents, and maintenance procedures.* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to teams and stakeholders.* Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and statistical analysis.* Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using a data-driven approach and logical reasoning.* Comfortable working with technical documentation in various formats, including diagrams and abstract concepts.**Benefits Starting from Day 1:*** Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (including FSA and HSA options)* Life Insurance + Supplemental Life, Child, Spousal, and AD&D Insurance* Short- and Long-Term Disability* Retirement Planning, 401(k) plan, & Financial Wellness Resources* Educational Assistance Program* Time off Policies (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid vacation)* Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment #J-18808-Ljbffr
