Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction:

Greet customers as they arrive at the Quick Lane, assess their vehicle service needs, and provide them with detailed information on recommended services.

Service Recommendations:

Advise customers on necessary maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspections, manufacturer recommendations, and dealership guidelines.

Scheduling:

Efficiently manage and schedule service appointments to optimize workflow and minimize customer wait times.

Communication:

Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle, including any additional work needed, estimated completion times, and associated costs.

Sales:

Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition, ensuring a balance between customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.

Documentation:

Accurately document all service work, including parts, labor, and any special instructions, in the dealership’s management system.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with technicians, parts advisors, and other service team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of all service work.

Customer Follow-Up:

Conduct follow-up calls with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service received and encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Customer Service:

A genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term customer relationships.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work in a busy environment.

Sales Ability:

Proven ability to upsell products and services while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction.

Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services is a plus.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency with dealership management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technology.

Driver’s License:

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Salary: $32,000 - $75,000 a year. Salary depends on performance. No cap on commissions.
