Flight Coordinator

What we offer: Hourly wage: $22.50* Comprehensive benefits package including health care and 401K; full-time employees eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage Complimentary breakfast and lunch provided An exceptional workplace environment with engaging events and supportive colleagues An environment where your ideas can make a tangible impact; we embrace innovation Opportunities for genuine career growth, both domestically and internationally The chance to collaborate with and represent one of the foremost innovators in the global luxury gourmet entertainment sector Responsibilities: Professionally represent DO & CO air side by providing a full handover to the crew including product details, menu descriptions, stowage positions and answering any related questions Responsible for deescalating any concerns airside Ensure the correct number of meals for each flight is ready, packed and assigned correctly in a timely manner Pack and check aircraft galley equipment to ensure all are adhering to airline guidelines Distribute all incoming operational (i.e. up counts/departure) information to the affected departments Motivate and train a team of Food Packers with a hands-on approach Accomplish the on-time completion of the flight to be dispatched Ensure our product always meets the utmost DO & CO and airline quality standards and specifications Ensure hygiene requirements and food safety standards are fulfilled To ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met, flight packers main tasks are completed working inside a cooler/refrigerated area Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Upkeep and maintain food safety Qualifications: Proactive and self-organized Ability to manage through a substantial workload Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines Solution seeker and effective decision maker Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service Hands-on in order to make sure all flights are successfully dispatched on time Valid Driver’s license Qualifications also include the ability to meet the requirements necessary to obtain a LAWA ID (per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209) Diversity & Inclusion statement DO & CO provides equal employment opportunities.
