Job description:
This position requires someone with excellent knowledge of cabinets and commercial carpentry. Our line of work at Arce Cabinets is commercial European style casework (plastic laminate cabinets, countertops, casework, millwork and moulding), mostly for public works projects. We’re looking for a project manager to guide projects from start to finish from obtaining drawings and coordinating the fabrication and installation work schedule.
At our office you will work with our in-house estimator, shop foreman, labor compliance officer, and draftsman to complete successful projects. Please note that we require someone with extensive experience specifically with commercial projects completing finish carpentry and cabinets. Our job sizes range from $40K-$600K.

Fire Stations Military bases Bank Offices Police Stations Project Administration Duties will include:
Creating and Maintaining multiple spreadsheets to keep track of every project detail Gathering Product data and shop drawings Obtaining Material samples Overseeing RFI’s, ASI’s, Change orders, permits and inspections Correcting drawings for production Submittals/ Close-outs Having a system of spreadsheets to keep track of every project detail throughout the life of the project Keep track of fabrication hours Project Coordination duties will include:
Managing the construction of the project in all phases Create and manage project schedules, including managing subcontractors (we outsource stainless steel, solid surface, quartz, and installers). Some material purchasing when needed Oversee and coordinate daily/weekly tasks according to priorities and plans Delegate responsibilities to our crew and contractors, and all subtiers Required:
Excellent ability to read drawings, make corrections, and convey this information to others Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities Minimum 5 years of work experience and knowledge in finish carpentry construction management in commercial carpentry. Preferred but not required:
Fluency in English is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus This is a fully on-site role at our shop. Hybrid/remote work is not available as there are always moving parts and variables to oversee when it comes to construction.
Pay is direct deposit weekly. Some major holidays are paid time off after 3 months. 401K offered after 3 months. PTO.
