Formulation Specialist - Aseptic Zoetis, the global leader in animal health, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our formulation team. The Formulation Specialist will perform assembly, preparation, and cleaning of manufacturing equipment, and conduct manufacturing processes for animal health products. This role demands high attention to detail, awareness of manufacturing sensitivities, a strong work ethic, and effective communication within a high-performance team. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and organizational skills are essential to maintain an orderly work environment. Perform tasks according to batch records, SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards such as cGMPs. Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair formulation equipment. Assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment and work areas properly. Handle hazardous materials following proper gowning, SOPs, and safety guidelines. Follow detailed recipes for measuring and mixing ingredients accurately. Monitor and adjust processes to optimize quality and efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of all tasks. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership. Collaborate to meet production schedules and department goals. Required Skills, Education, and Experience
High school diploma or GED. Basic math, English communication, legible handwriting, and reading comprehension. Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical documentation. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications. Effective interpersonal communication and a positive attitude. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Mechanical skills and experience with hand tools. Candidates should not be allergic to Cephalosporin/Penicillin. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of cGMPs and production practices. Experience in Lean Manufacturing or similar environments. Reliable transportation and good attendance. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, PDCA). Ability to train others on SOPs and processes. Experience creating and maintaining training documentation. Physical and Time Requirements
Routine lifting of 20-50 lbs. Prolonged sitting and standing. Flexible hours and potential overtime. Manual dexterity to meet production pace. Work Environment
Exposure to airborne particles, including cephalosporin, near moving mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment is required. Shift: 2:00PM – 10:30PM This job is active and currently accepting applications.
