The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to PreK-12 students, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students\' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students\' needs. Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students\' communication goals in the classroom and other settings. Incorporate evidence-based techniques and activities into therapy sessions to promote development. Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Document therapy sessions, progress, and other relevant information accurately and timely. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students\' speech and language needs. Qualifications
Master\'s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Current ASHA certification Experience providing SLP services in school or pediatric settings Proficiency with assessment tools and techniques used in pediatric SLP Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Knowledge of AAC systems and other assistive technology (preferred) Benefits
