Job Description Summary
The MUSC Health Orangeburg Hospital Clinical Pharmacist completes operational and clinical activities in the inpatient setting to provide high-quality care for patients. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for performing patient care activities and overseeing operations within the central pharmacy. Responsibilities include:
Clinical duties as assigned
Drug distribution
Teaching and education
Process improvement and quality assurance

Minimum Training and Education
Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency is preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
