JR250978Shift:Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00 PM**Description:*** A candidate for this role will support the a CRO working in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device fields**NOTE: Position is expected to last 3 months****NOTE: Position is in Hercules, CA**Compensation:$30.00 - 35.00 per hour**Responsibilities:*** Perform Intraperitoneal (IP) injection in rats and mice* Ensure accurate dosing and proper restraint of animals to minimize stress and injury* Monitor and record morbidity and mortality of laboratory animals (rats/mice)* Document appropriate study records.* Accurately document observations* Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of GMP's/GLP's as these pertain to work performed in the microbiology lab* Perform repetitive and technically meticulous small laboratory animal (mice/ rat) research work (training will be provided).**Requirements:*** Minimum requirement: BS degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related degree* Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven* Proficiency in Office 365 and other software preferred* Able to communicate effectively* Willingness to work with potentially hazardous biological and chemical substances.* Must be able to work in close proximity to laboratory animals (including mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs).
