The RN-FNE conducts forensic medical exams in all cases of sexual assault and violence, as requested by victims or law enforcement, and provides emergency and prophylactic care along with follow-up information. Education & Experience: BSN or enrolled in a BSN program within 4 years of hire, with steady progress (minimum of 9 credits per year) Applicants not yet enrolled must apply and be accepted into a BSN program within 6 months of hire, with coursework to begin promptly. 2+ years of RN experience as a SAFE Nurse is strongly preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current Maryland RN license Current FNE-A/P certification through MBON BLS certification for healthcare providers Salary range: To be discussed during screening, with actual compensation based on experience and role scope.
