The School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time faculty position working in the Division of Graduate Programs. The division offers the following programs: MSN (including a variety of nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist tracks), post-MSN certificates, Doctorate of Nursing Practice, and Ph.D. in Nursing. Successful candidates will offer the following: A commitment to excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and research. Awareness of healthcare dynamics and changing nursing roles. Active engagement in curriculum and program development. Desire and ability to maintain an active research program. Enthusiastic advising /mentoring of students in coursework, research, and professional practice. Participate in program review and accreditation reporting. Participate in faculty governance. Maintain clinical specialization. Generate creative ways of teaching and supporting learners. Skilled in utilizing a variety of teaching methods. Model a passion for learning and excellence in the classroom and clinical settings. Assist students in achieving competence in practice. Specialization
Clinical Specialization in Advanced Practice, Board Certified. Responsibilities
Support faculty work within the division and its associated programs. Applicants will have evidence of high-quality teaching and show potential for active research. Integrates a Christian worldview into the disciplines of nursing and teaching. Adheres to the expectations delineated in the University Faculty Handbook. May be needed to work at alternative Regional Campuses or Sites. Level
Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or Instructor. Qualifications
A doctorate from an accredited university in Nursing or a closely related discipline is preferred. Active California Registered Nurse license and Nurse Practitioner certification, or eligible to acquire. Experience

$70,304 to $125,460 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, APU offers a competitive benefits package. Compensation will be based on experience, rank, and qualifications. Additional Information
