Kelsey-Seybold dermatologists see a wide range of patients including adult and pediatric. They diagnose, treat, and manage all types of medical dermatology conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers. The dermatology team is growing and currently includes 19 providers across 11 locations in the greater Houston area, with two dermatopathologists and one Mohs surgeon.
Dermatologists offer additional services including phototherapy (nbUVB, PUVA, excimer), extended patch testing, and select cosmetic services. They collaborate extensively with other Kelsey specialists including General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, and Radiation Oncology. Dermatologists are invited to participate in a monthly tumor board as well as a quarterly journal club.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of dermatology conditions for adult and pediatric patients.
Provide dermatology services including phototherapy, patch testing, and select cosmetic procedures where applicable.
Collaborate with other Kelsey specialists and participate in multidisciplinary teams and tumor boards.
Engage in continuous professional development and participate in journal clubs and other educational activities.
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD, DO).
Accredited Residency training.
Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas.
Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to starting employment.
Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $360,000 – $672,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and productivity/performance. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
