Field Service Engineer - Medical Laboratory Equipment Join our industry-leading medical device company as a Field Service Engineer based in the Jackson, Mississippi area. This full-time position involves managing installations, maintenance, and customer relationships in a dynamic field environment. $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Install, service, and perform preventative maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers. Quickly establish and maintain professional relationships with clientele to ensure service excellence. Coordinate problem resolution efforts across the Field Support Group to enhance operational efficiency. Maintain inventory of crucial tools and parts within company vehicle. Conduct basic on-site training for clients on the operational aspects of the equipment. Stay prepared for overnight travel as part of the service commitment to regional customers. Minimum Position Qualifications: AAS Degree in electronics, electro-mechanical technology, or related field is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service for medical or related technical equipment. Proficiency in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Capacity to undertake overnight travel as required for job responsibilities. Must be a current resident or have ability to work within the Jackson, Mississippi area without relocation assistance. Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for the safety of our team and clients. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience servicing medical laboratory analyzers highly desired. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a field setting. Excellent communication and customer service skills to facilitate training and customer interaction. Skills: Strong technical proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic circuit diagrams and software diagnostics. Effective time management and logistic planning capabilities. Professionalism and capacity to manage sensitive equipment and client needs tactfully.
