Overview
Our client, a large hospital located about 30 minutes from Fayetteville, NC, has a need for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT) to join their team. Candidates MUST be able to work Blood Bank as well as other areas of the lab in this Generalist position. There is no phlebotomy involved. This is a Night Shift position working 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, and every other weekend. No on-call required.

Performs a variety of routine laboratory tests and procedures in chemistry, microbiology, hematology, blood bank or other areas of the clinical laboratory. Participates in quality control, CAP surveys, methods/procedures development, and equipment inspections and calibrations. Education, Credentials, Training and Experience
Minimum Required: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a science related to clinical medicine with formal hospital-based internship and registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT-ASCP), MLT-AMT, or Medical Technologist (MT-HEW, MT-AMT, MT-HHS). Incumbent will be required to successfully complete a laboratory orientation program.
