Behavioral Health Consultant - Job Overview

Screen new clients in primary care using digital tools to identify behavioral health needs. Implement immediate interventions and innovative referral services. Administer psychosocial assessments and crisis interventions. Deliver brief interventions using motivational interviewing and digital health strategies. Conduct clinical evaluations and counseling sessions. Maintain accurate client records and reports. Coordinate with community agencies for seamless service delivery. Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans. Use data-driven approaches for client assessment and treatment adjustments. Participate in monthly meetings with supervisors to improve service quality. Document interactions within a digital framework, adhering to timelines. Stay updated on behavioral health innovations and research. Engage in voluntary family planning services per regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences from an accredited institution. Active Texas license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) with participation in reimbursement programs. At least 2 years of experience in assessment, interventions, and psychotherapy. Skilled in managing priorities and using digital tools for client engagement.
