Country Hills Veterinary Hospital is ready to introduce you to the community of East Point, KY and the surrounding area. Our clients see dogs and cats, reptiles, small mammals and birds. At our practice, you can pursue your medical interests, including exotics, wherever you want to go. Our clients deserve the best care, so we have 3 exam rooms, a large treatment area and a boarding facility attached. You will also be able to master your surgery skills with soft tissue surgery (and orthopedics if that’s your thing). Our equipment includes digital radiographs, in-house labs and an ultrasound. Whatever you need, if we don’t have it we’ll get it for you. About the area: Just as the name implies, we're as far east as you can get in KY. Rich in history and outdoor activities, it's a great place to get involved with your community. Essential Responsibilities

Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed. Provide counsel around pet end of life care. Maintain patients' medical records. Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures. Requirements/Qualifications

DVM/VMD from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance. Benefits Offered
