Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
Responsibilities
Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs.
Monitors and maintains equipment.
May serve in the role of charge or lead.
Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associates degree in either nursing or radiology, or a graduate of an allied health accredited program, including EMTs or Paramedics, or Respiratory Therapist.
Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
ACLS; Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RT), EMT, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Preferred Job Requirements:
Radiology Tech or EMT-Paramedic
One (1) year of previous job-related experience. Clinical educational experience may be substituted for work experience.
Advanced credentialing in cardiovascular and electrophysiology is strongly recommended. RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT(RT(R)), CV, CI, or VI
