The Wilmington, DE office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and at least eight (8) years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Admission to the Delaware Bar and some portable business are required. Lewis Brisbois' General Liability Practice comprises over 600 attorneys nationwide who have successfully represented defendants in significant exposure cases across various general liability areas. The group defends a wide range of property and personal injury claims for both insured and self-insured clients. While the firm handles diverse matters, it specializes in litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases. Our trial attorneys are experienced and well-respected, with recognition such as citations by the National Law Journal for top defense verdicts. Although prior insurance defense experience is preferred, we are also interested in talented attorneys with excellent litigation skills from any arena.
