Patient Services Coordinator
to work in our Division of
Dental
Services Residency Clinic. This candidate must be an excellent communicator with a desire to be part of a great team! MUST HAVE DENTAL OR MEDICAL FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE Minimum $35,339 - Midpoint $43,451* *Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. *Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. The work schedule is Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will work as a

under limited supervision, performing a wide variety of administrative support functions at UNMMG Ambulatory
Dental Clinics . Responsibilities include direct service to patients either by phone or in person, scheduling appointments, receptionist duties, verifying demographics and insurance information, obtaining referrals and prior authorizations with insurance carriers, assisting with concerns and complaints, and serving as a liaison with dentists, physicians, other providers, and insurance companies. Additionally, the candidate will balance daily reports, deposits, and money bags. The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a large dental clinic setting, collaborating with many residents and other staff members. Summary: Performs a variety of administrative support functions at a UNMMG Ambulatory Clinic, including scheduling appointments, receptionist duties, and verifying demographic and insurance information. Manages referrals and prior authorizations with insurance carriers, ensuring smooth patient service. Assists with patient concerns and complaints, acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other providers. Minimum Job Requirements for an Ambulatory Patient Services Coordinator: High school diploma or GED. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
