Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the customer to keep them informed and explain any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications
At least 2 years as a service technician A level qualification including diagnostic skills and troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills and an ability to talk to a variety of customers, friendly attitude Basic Computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player Problem solving skills Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines. Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
