This role will provide the Safety Organization the support needed in managing safety projects to completion building American to thrive forever. As a member of the Safety Strategy and Project Management team within the Safety Division, you will play a hands-on role in various integration projects that support cross-functional teams for the company’s daily operations. We are looking for someone who can work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and is able to handle tight deadlines. What you'll do

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations. Manage and lead safety-related projects, including new implementations, enhancements, integrations, and other special projects. Utilizes technical knowledge and project management methodologies such as Agile, product architecture, continuous deployment process, data models and analytics, tools supporting automation/metrics and other innovative technologies in support of the portfolio. Uses data to define baselines, measure outcomes, and share insights. Proactively communicates with stakeholders, sponsors, and project teams to maintain project alignment. Influences and collaborates with stakeholders, peers, and other product leaders to deliver solutions that achieve the portfolio’s vision and goals. Manages program level risks and issues and removes barriers that prevent efficient execution of projects. Works with internal stakeholders to resolve multi-program conflicts. Collaborates with various internal and external team members such as Safety, Technology, Vendor Management, Compliance, Security, etc. Ensures that approved methods, processes, and tools are consistently used across projects including change management, risk assessment and mitigation planning, quality assurance, and closure recommendations. Leads internal Safety initiatives and responds to operational requests. All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in related field 3 years of applicable experience or 5 years of equivalent project/program management work experience Strong experience in Change Management, Business Process Mapping, and Project Management Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Master’s degree in related field with 5+ years of experience in project/program management Experience guiding internal and external partners, connect workgroups and teams to ensure strategies and impacts are clearly understood. Demonstrated familiarity with various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Lean, etc. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant certifications in project/program management field Must be able to handle large, complex projects requiring a multi-phased approach as well as projects that need to be fast-tracked. Inspires a culture of continuous improvement and challenges conventional thinking while driving creative solutions and intelligent risk-taking. Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, and able to embrace change. Energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and comfortable challenging assumptions while driving results. What you'll get
