Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Electrical Engineer

with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hardware and firmware design to support the development and manufacturing of our industrial products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in new product development, sustaining engineering, and troubleshooting for a variety of embedded systems. A background in intrinsically safe (IS) product design or working in hazardous-rated environments (ATEX, IECEx, UL913) is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, test, and validate embedded hardware systems, including microcontrollers, digital/analog circuits, and low-power devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability in real-world environments. Support manufacturing engineering by troubleshooting board-level issues, implementing design changes, and improving test coverage and diagnostics. Contribute to intrinsically safe circuit design, certification preparation, and documentation for compliance with UL, ATEX, and IECEx standards. Assist in PCB layout review, BOM creation, and component selection for new and legacy products. Develop and execute test plans and protocols for design verification, product validation, and production support. Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support firmware development (C/C++) for embedded platforms as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in electronic product design, testing, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of embedded hardware architecture (ARM, MSP430, PIC, etc.) and associated firmware development. Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other bench test tools. Familiarity with regulatory compliance for hazardous environments (intrinsically safe/explosion-proof design practices). Experience working with PCB CAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, etc.) and reviewing layouts. Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design, EMI mitigation, and power management. Preferred Qualifications Experience with intrinsically safe design certification processes (UL913, IEC 60079). Working knowledge of low-power design techniques and battery-powered products. SolidWorks with 3D modeling. Exposure to manufacturing environments (DFM, test fixtures, production debugging). Familiarity with embedded Linux or RTOS environments is a plus.
