LSO’s is headquartered in Brea, CA (North Orange County). In January 2023, the Company added its east coast facility in Somersworth, New Hampshire (formerly J-Pac Medical). We are currently seeking a self-motivated Technical Sales Engineer with positive, engagement and collaborative energy to join our team and support the continued growth of the New Hampshire Facility. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing commercial program quoting models, preparing quote packages in response to customer Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and new business opportunities for Life Science Outsourcing’s (LSO) medical device packaging, sterilization, and testing business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Collaborates with internal resources throughout the organization as well as customer representatives to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the quoting process for Life Science Outsourcing; Conducts quote costing analysis and generates client facing quote documents; Participates with sales and Engineering in collecting the Client documentation, performing a technical review and project setup; Align customer requirements with LSO capabilities as part of the quoting process. Supports the Sales Team and Account Managers as well as the Operations Team with timely responses to new quote requests; supports the Finance Team with costing and pricing inputs. QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. BS degree in a technical field/ Engineering. Experience in commercial quoting in the manufacturing industry, with strong emphasis on comprehension of process flow and bill of materials configuration/costing; Strong understanding of Client, market dynamics and requirements; Relevant product and industry knowledge for medical devices, sterilization services, and package testing; Proven experience utilizing CRM software, preferably Salesforce. MS Excel automation skills; able to qualify appropriate quoting software; Strong project management skills; attention to detail Desire to work with closely with client representatives to fully and thoroughly define and document requirements; Ability to work individually and guide a team for larger/complex quote projects; Demonstrate ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions; Superior ethics and integrity in all business dealings Able to set goals both personal and professional; Strong verbal/written communication skills.
